Reviews
Location location location. Great room overlooking the canal. Steps to vaporetto stop "guglie" and the water fountain. 100 meters from the train station. Great restaurants on the canal away from the hordes.
Super little hotel (reception down the canal at Leone), in Cannaregio close to some great eateries and bars. It’s very walkable to all the venues and there’s a vaporetto stop 20 paces from the front door. Our room was comfortable with a good bathroom.
My wife and I loved our stay at Ca' Dogaressa and would happily stay there again. This is an older hotel, so the room is small, but it was charming and the bathroom was modern. The primary front desk is at Leone Hotel, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our airline delayed our luggage, and the front desk was incredibly helpful with reuniting us with our bags. Also, this place is in a great spot along the canal, and right next to a great little bar and several bistroes. If you don't mind the short 20 minute walk and/or taxi ride to St. Mark's Plaza, this is a wonderful place to stay on holiday.
Room is tiny and very warm if you do t open the screen free windows. It is overall a nice room. Check in is at a different hotel just down the canal. Walking distance from the tra8n station. Seems like a typical room in an Italian Guesthouse..
Such a unique and undeserved experience, we were served brunch by the most emotionally telepathic man I've ever met. From the instant we sat down he knew what we needed, as we were both silently thinking about a second coffee it just appeared. He understood our needs more than we did, a form of magic I don't understand.
