Reviews
The perfect hotel for traditional Venetian splendor. Our junior suite was large and classically styled. The communal areas reflect it's history as a private palace. Super friendly staff and perfect location. The tourist centre is a short walk one way, there's a lovely craft beer place 25 metres away and a short walk north takes you to the quieter parts of cannareggio.
This is a fantastic place to feel like you are in old Venice. The location is perfect and in a nice neighborhood that, for Venice, isn’t too touristy. Staff like, Alessandro and Valentina, will make your stay easy. They have great restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend taking a water taxi directly from the airport to the hotels doorstep, runs about €160 but is worth it.
“An amazing hotel in a fantastic location, full of authentic local character. The beautiful cherubs painted on the ceiling give a subtle glimpse into the building’s history and charm. A really special place to stay that feels far more unique than a standard hotel.” The service was great and breakfast fantastic- highly recommended.
What a beautiful 17th century hotel! They have a mixture of old and characterful and modern but with original features rooms. The entrance hall and the staircase is just stunning, it has a feel of a stately home. Very clean, great breakfast, reception is open 24/7, excellent location. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, Sandro went out of his way to ensure we had the best time and everything we may need. Thank you!
The hotel is beautiful and in a great location away from over-touristed areas. It is clean and the included breakfast was great - from cooked eggs to meats, cheeses, mini croissants and savoury pastries, and cappuccinos and lattes - all delicious! Alessandro and Valentina Rob care of us and all staff were very friendly. We will stay here next time we are in Venice no question. Can’t wait to be back!
