Good value for location, not a lot of frills but there is air conditioning, a clean bathroom with shower, and a bed. All you need for a place to drop your bags and head between exploring the beautiful city!
3.5 - Super basic hotel away from the main hustle which is a blessing. Elevator did not work which seems to be a typical problem in Europe. Similar problem with the drain in the shower, tons of noise from the alley and noise for breakfast making from the kitchen. Can’t complain bc it’s to be expected for sure. My tip would be to wake up early, beat the crowds and come back for a nap as it is fairly quiet then.
Great location on quiet (but still bustling) side of Grand Canal. 4- minute walk to Accademia Bridge and 12-15 to San Marco Square. Major vapretto stop at bridge. Clean modern accommodation at a good price in 4-story building with elevator. Bi-lingual staff. Optional large-spread breakfast at extra cost. Wrap up a roll, cheese and fruit for an easy lunch! Private 1st floor patio and 4th floor terrace with gorgeous view of nearby Santa Maria Della Salute church including a peek at the San Marco Campanile as a bonus. 100% satisfied and highly recommended. I travelled solo and stayed 4 nights.
The only advantage of this hotel are the location and professional receptionists who were quite supportive. The rooms are extremely old fashioned, there is no room service ( only per request and paid). The breakfast is very very limited and you cant find any hot breakfast. Also the cutlery looks worn and outdated. It was really uncomfortable to enjoy the breakfast. I would not choose this hotel again.
