This was our second time in Venice, and we love the Dorsoduro area! This room was exactly as described, so close to the Academia Bridge yet extremely peaceful and quiet at night. Super clean and cozy. Crispy clean linens! Perfect for our family of 3. We didn’t realize there was a common area with kitchen amenities and seating, so finding it was a nice touch. Alberto was very proactive, super helpful in recommending his favorite food and entertainment experiences, and was just so kind overall, always making sure we had everything we needed and checked in throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the self check in process and detailed directions to find the location. Another plus…only one flight of steps to climb to your room! I highly recommend this location for your stay in Venice. Alberto is an extraordinary host who truly delighted in sharing his home with guests visiting his city!
Staying at Casa Guggenheim was one of the most refined and authentic experiences I have ever had in Venice. Perfectly located just steps from the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and away from the busiest tourist flows, the hotel offers a rare sense of tranquility in the heart of the city. The atmosphere is intimate, artistic, and deeply Venetian. You truly feel immersed in culture, history, and understated elegance. The rooms are beautifully curated, blending contemporary design with the timeless charm of Venice. Every detail feels intentional, from the quality of the materials to the soft lighting and the peaceful courtyard that creates a private oasis in the middle of the city. The service is impeccable. Warm, attentive, and genuinely caring without ever feeling intrusive. The team makes you feel welcomed as if you were a guest in a private residence rather than a hotel. Breakfast is a highlight in itself. Quiet, refined, and surrounded by greenery, it is the perfect way to start a day in Venice. If you are looking for an elegant, authentic, and intimate stay that reflects the true soul of Venice, Casa Guggenheim is simply exceptional. I would return without hesitation.
This is an absolutly wonderful hotel. It is more like an Airbnb, because it is self check-in, but the host was incredibly responsive whenever we had any questions. The room was charming and very clean. It is in a nice location that is far enough away from San Marco that you're not drowning in tourists, but it is close enough that you can walk there if you wish. It is about a 5 minute walk from two vaporetto stations, so it is easy enough to use those as well.
