My wife and I started our cruise vacation with a couple of nights in Venice. We selected the Elizabeth Unique because it was away from many tourist hot spots and we wanted to explore the Cannaregio neighborhood. We loved it. Not only was the hotel a blend of charm and Italian culture but the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond during our stay. The hotel is a short walk away from some amazing cafes and restaurants. It is also a short walk to the Guglie Water bus stop which we used daily to get around to other spots in Venice or the airport. We explored from this hotel location. We had such a great experience at this hotel, that I wanted to stay again when we returned from our cruise a week later. I want to give a special thank you to Marco, Elena, and the amazing staff for treating us so warmly. I hope that if you stay at this hotel, you sit back in the lobby with an Aperol Spritz before you head out to explore this amazing city. That’s what I plan on doing the next time my travels take me to Venice.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Elizabeth Unique Venice. During our 12-day trip through several cities in Italy, the friendliness and hospitality of everyone we encountered here became the highlight of our entire journey. We were lucky enough to stay during the hotel's second week after opening. The location is excellent—only about a one-minute walk from the Vaporetto stop. Even with large suitcases, it was very easy to reach because the path is flat and follows the canal. At first, we were a little confused because we couldn't find a hotel sign. When we opened the glass door, we were taken to a table in the restaurant instead of a reception desk. However, one of the English-speaking staff members kindly reassured us that we were in the right place. We were immediately served cold drinks and snacks, which completely refreshed us after our long journey. Marco at the front desk checked us in while we relaxed at the restaurant table. My mother and I were traveling together, and although only rooms with one king-size bed were available, Marco had already arranged a room with a sofa bed before we even had to ask. We truly appreciated his thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The room beautifully combined classic Venetian elegance with fresh, modern touches. Little details like the cute pillowcases and colorful slippers gave the room a charming personality, and my mother especially loved them. We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel courtyard. Meloree was incredibly friendly and took the time to tell us about Venice and the hotel, making our breakfast a memorable experience. Conversations with her became one of our favorite memories from the trip. A heartfelt thank you to Marco, Meloree, and every member of the staff. Your warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. When we return to Venice, there is no question—we will definitely stay at this hotel again.
This hotel is nothing short of fabulous! Everything from the moment we arrived was incredible! The staff were welcoming and helpful! We had a free welcome glass of prosecco while we waited for our room to be ready! The room itself was new and beautiful…. With a sauna in the bathroom! They have paid incredible attention to every detail. When we returned to our room at night, there were slippers waiting as well as a cushioned bedside mat next to the bed! We had to wait for a water bus on the day of our departure , and we spent time in the “lobby” area where we enjoyed a cocktail and complimentary snacks! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I simply cannot say enough good things about this hotel! The manager was THE BEST! We have stayed in many Marriott properties, and this is our new favorite! Stay here if you can!!
This hotel - location, design, service and its people - are absolutely wonderful, and will make your trip to Venice better! If you can book it, do it! Lovely canalside location in Canareggio, offering breezes, sunsets and a respite from the throngs of tourists. Super easy walk from the train station area. The design is both very modern and very Venetian, with colorful and unique terrazzo floors, cool artwork, and stylish and comfortable rooms. There is a beautiful interior courtyard garden to have breakfast or an aperitivo. Service is so welcoming and warm. The folks working here are all smiles and clearly proud of this new spot. We would go back to Venice just to stay there longer and enjoy the hospitality and location again!
