Our family with young children stayed at Hotel Agli Alboretti during our vacation in Venice and couldn't recommend it more. We chose this hotel based on location and ability to fit two adults and two children in a room. While the hotel has an older style to it, it was clean and we were pleasantly surprised to have a two-room suite with plenty of space. The location was excellent - in a quieter part of the city with a neighborhood feel, but just steps to the Accademia Bridge, with access to both the Vaporetto and San Marco. We also stayed in summer, and were relieved that the hotel had strong A/C. Although the practice of leaving your key with the front desk (it's on a heavy keychain) was a little strange, it was never a problem. The hotel staff was always helpful and friendly.

Located only moments walk from both Accademia and Zattere vaporetto stops, Agli Alboretti is ideally placed for exploring Venice. A delightful hotel with clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a flexible breakfast room which becomes a restaurant later in the day.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days. From when we walked in , until we left the staff have been nothing but amazing towards us and other patreons. Quiet and small street that looks amazing . You are able to walk to anywhere from there and the Vaporetto stops are within 2-3 minutes max from the hotel. Breakfast is more than enough with all sort of options to choose from (Juice , Coffee , Cappuccino , pastries , cold cuts , fruits etc. etc. etc.) They have a lovely small cozy garden that you can sit out in (when the weather is good) . I would also recommend the restaurant that is in the hotel. We ate there twice (or more , we can't remember) and each time the staff and the food was superb! Hotel staff is one of the most friendly and helpful people you might find. Any type of questions they will try and answer. Regardless of what , if you are staying in this hotel and you don't know what you should do / where to go / how to get there , ask the staff about tips and tricks. On our last night , the late shift clerk even stayed after his shift ended to explain to us what is the best way to get back to the airport and with what. He stayed until we booked everything and everything was cleared!! All I can say is , if you are thinking about this hotel do take it. All put together this is a perfect place to call "home" for your trip to Venice. Grazie Mille once again to the staff!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It is close to the boat stops for easy access to public transportation, and it it near so many great restraints and things. The room was small yet beautiful. The shower was smaller that I'd typically like, but everything else paid off. They serve a complimentary breakfast which was delicious!! They also serve tea and cappuccino's as well. This was an absolutely amazing hotel and I would highly recommend it!

Charming hotel with a personal feel. The clerk at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful when we first arrived. Incredible location too: just a 4 minute walk from the Zattere boat stop, where transit can take you just about anywhere in the city. There’s another stop just 2 minutes the other direction on the grand canal. Really easy to walk to San Marco + Doge’s Palace and through Dorsoduro from the hotel
