We had a fantastic stay at Casa Verardo with fantastic service from Ilora from the moment we checked in. The hotel is very close to St Mark’s square and easily accessible from the train station by the Vaporetto. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was that the view of the canal from our room was a little obscured, but I would still highly recommend this hotel!
Deluxe triple room was great - one queen and a day bed - day bed is firm - but room was a great size for 3 people. 8 minutes to centre - great location. - staff were super helpful - stayed 4 days. Worth staying for the breakfast - breakfast staff were also really nice.
What a stunner of a Hotel, just 5mins from St Marks square, in a quiet corner of Venice, with the canal right outside the door. Excellent staff could not do enough for us, decent breakfast, also has a small bar, the rooms are comfy, and spotless. Check in and checkout times are very good, you can leave bags before check in and after checkout, if you wish to visit the famous Murano glass they will arrange a private water taxl to the glass works with a tour, this is all free of charge. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect—5 minutes walk to the water bus station, making it incredibly easy to get around Venice. The hotel itself is clean, well-organized, and the staff are super helpful. Our room was impressively spacious, perfect for our family of 4. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. On our final day, the staff even prepared a breakfast box for us since we had an early departure, which was very thoughtful and convenient. The only minor note is that our room was located right next to the breakfast area. It did get a bit noisy after 6:00 AM as the staff began preparations. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to request a room further down the hall, but for most travelers, it shouldn't be a major issue. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Casa Verardo. The room was perfect, so was the service. We enjoyed the breakfast too. It was near Piazza San Marco and the mainly attractions. The more important thing, it was near the vaporetto station San Zaccharia that connects you to Santa Lucia train station and also 10-15 min walk from Rialto Bridge, where you can find other vaporetto stations. From San Marco you can follow Riva degli Schiavoni to go to the hotel because it is 5 min walk and better way if you have kids or old people with you. I recommend 100 %
