Sooo friendly and will go out of their way to make you happy! Like the majority in Venice, it has small communal areas but don't let that deter you! Every stranger here was so nice too! The rooms are perfect and the AC is amazing! Best hotel I've been in for my 2 week Italy tour trip!
This is a beautiful hotel that is well maintained with an excellent service staff. I am so glad that I selected it for my stay. It's not a cookie cutter hotel but lacks no detail. The price point combined with the overall experience made it a great value for visiting Venice. We were more than satisfied with the beautiful breakfast buffet that is available to patrons for a reasonable price. Everything was fresh and delicious.
A wonderful little hotel that made our stay in Venice truly enjoyable. One of the highlights was the buffet breakfast and the lovely aperitivos served on the small dock in front of the hotel, such a relaxing way to take in the atmosphere and wave to the gondolas floating by. Our room was a bit on the smaller side, but perfectly comfortable for our two-night stay. Due to the tides, we had a short walk, when we arrived in Venice, about four minutes through the square, but it was no trouble at all and added to the charm of the experience. The small bar was quite lively at night with a very talented piano player as well. All in all, a lovely stay. We would happily return on our next visit to Venice.
Wonderful find by our hays travel agent. Three minutes to San Marco on foot. Pasta in a box local and great value for pasta on the go. Hotel very typical for Italy. Charming and very traditional decor. Florian's well worth a visit 3 minutes away. Breakfast wonderful with great service. A small cannel jetty to watch the world go by. Perfect for your first visit to Venice. Note arrive via river taxi for that extra special treat.. trust me you will not want to leave... If your staying more than a couple of days get the river boat pass for 72 hours.. a great way to hop on and hop off to visit all the local islands.... 49 euro each...
Wow, we are leaving tomorrow and had a great experience here. We are traveling with 3 small children (3, 5 & 8) and struggled to find rooms that fit our family without splitting in 2 rooms. We came across the annex building for Hotel Colombina and I found minimal photos (from guests) so was a little hesitant but had no reason to be. The service, concierge, front desk, cleaning service, and anyone that assisted with setting up boats and bags were fantastic. The family apartment in annex building is literally a few steps away from front desk through a small garden, and it's perfect 2 beds and a small bed and couch, kitchen area including fridge and oven, 1 shower and 2 bathrooms. Our bedroom overlooked canal and the kids loved sitting at top and watching gondolas go by.
