Reviews
I won't lie, we are demanding guests, but we knew what to expect from this hotel's standard. What definitely earns a good rating is the housekeeping. The room was always beautifully cleaned, the bed made, and the shower gels replenished. Furthermore, I would like to mention the overall cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel staff was also lovely. They helped us with everything we needed. What was a disappointment, and the reason for the 4* rating, is the repetitive and unfortunately very modest breakfast. It was the same every day. (The photo shows almost everything they offer). If we could offer a suggestion for improvement, it would definitely be to make the breakfast more varied, or at least add some vegetables. On the other hand, the food was at least tasty. FYI: We booked through Booking.com and still had to pay a city tax of €7 per night at the accommodation. Payment is cash only. Be prepared for that.
despite technical issues in the beginning our stay was wonderful. The room was clean, warm enough for December, and neither of us had any issues sleeping despite the room located directly over the factory. The breakfast albeit clearly catering to Italians left nothing for us to desire. The staff was friendly. It’s not a modern building but exactly what we desire in such a historic location and the Hotel did provide everything it promised.
