Reviews
We recently stayed at Hotel Firenze San Marco and felt it was a true gem in Venice. The location was terrific, although a little difficult to find the hotel as it is tucked in from the street. The room was quiet, which is what we wanted. The staff were all so very helpful with directions to get around. Each day we had a little treat like biscuits left in our room. Breakfast was wonderful too! We just had one minor water issue in our room, but the front desk were sympathetic to this. We would highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel got everything that makes a good Hotel great. I booked way in advance, so the price was really good given the location. Staff is super friendly and supportive, gives great recommendations for where to go, what to see, where to eat. The room was beautiful and fully equipped with everything I'd expect in a good Hotel. Rooftop terrace is a dream.
My stay at Hotel Firenze significantly contributed to my first trip to Venice being memorable for all the right reasons. The room was very clean & comfortable, the breakfast was a great start to my day each morning and the hotel recommendations, particularly formeals were fantastic. The location made it very easy to navigate and the aircon worked well despite the heat. I really appreciated the kindness and generosity from everyone I encountered from arrival to departure. I highly recommend a stay. Thanks
We stayed in a room on the very top floor, it was a bit of a hall from the third floor elevator up one and a half more flights, our room was very small, a tight little bathroom. But everything was clean and comfortable, the bed was great, and more than anything location location location! The breakfast was fantastic, the desk staff were incredibly helpful and went out of the way to help us plan our day, plan transportation, and give recommendations. You pay a little more for this hotel, that would expect a little more from the room we stayed in, but it was completely worth it.
This is an excellent, intimate boutique hotel in San Marco that completely avoids the generic corporate feel. The location is unbeatable for walking the city, making it a perfect base for my five days there. The room matched the photos exactly, and the daily chocolates were a great touch. The real highlight was the front desk team. They recognized me immediately and handed me my key without ever asking for a room number. My booking was last-minute with a midnight arrival, and Claudia seamlessly arranged a taxi and a water taxi that dropped me less than a minute's walk from the hotel. The entire staff offers real, practical help by drawing on maps, securing same-day concert tickets, and calling local restaurants to confirm hours. In a city that is so busy and touristy, this level of attention made the stay feel personal and special. Exceptional service and the ideal location. Highly recommended.
