Reviews
Located in Cannaregio, this hotel is far from the main tourist areas, meaning quite a walk up and down the streets to reach attractions like San Marco. However, the hotel itself is fascinating! The building is beautifully preserved with a hint of historic luxury and a large garden courtyard. Having breakfast there under the warm Venetian sunrise was an amazing experience.
My stay at Hotel Heureka was wonderful. It's just a short walk from the ferry/waterbus Madonna dell'Orto stop that leaves directly from the Marco Polo Airport. It's in a quiet part of Venice, and easy walking to any of the sites and attractions. I'd just finished volunteering at the 2026 Winter Paralympics cross country skiing venue in Tesero. Hotel Heureka was a perfect place to land and rest after this adventure. Hotel Heureka has kind, lovely, helpful staff and delicious food. Most outstanding to me was the beauty of the hotel. The lobby and garden on the main floor are elegant and calm. My room had a 4 post bed; the wall behind the bed was printed fabric with giraffes and visual comedy. The bathroom a sink in the center of the room - yes, the bathroom was that big. If you love color, style, shapes and mixed media, you'll love staying at Hotel Heureka.
We had a very lovely lunch at the hotel restaurant after a nice rowing lesson from Row Venice. Freshly made and delicious gourmet food. And they were even accommodating to the requests of a small child’s palate. The property is gorgeous and modern. Overall I would recommend staying there and eating at the restaurant. They have a lovely courtyard where you can have your meal or indoors in a peaceful lounge. The whole staff was supper attentive- from the chef to the front desk staff.
Here’s a warmer, more people-focused version: I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in Venice, but what truly made it unforgettable was the people. From the moment I arrived, everyone was exceptionally kind — the people who welcomed me, the concierge, the team in the food area, every single person I met. Their warmth and genuine care were honestly out of this world. I was not expecting such an extraordinary level of hospitality. Everyone made me feel so welcomed, comfortable, and taken care of, especially as I was staying here alone. It turned what was already a beautiful place into a truly special experience. The premises are stunning, peaceful, and super quiet, and the whole hotel has that perfect boutique charm. For the quality, the prices are very reasonable, but the kindness of the staff is what I will remember most. Just perfect in every sense. I had the best day ever and cannot recommend this place highly enough.
If I could give 10 stars for service I would! This place was wonderful. My first time in Venice - I took the water taxi to the hotel, which is right on the water. Room was Very clean and in a quiet area. All of the sites and more touristy areas are very walkable (and walking and exploring is what I love to do). The staff welcomed me when I arrived. Also, on the day that I checked out I had to leave early so they offered me a breakfast box because they knew I would miss breakfast. Very attentive and kind - I will be coming back ! Fantastico!
