Everyone at Hotel Moresco is so friendly! We felt welcomed the first moment we stepped inside the hotel. They offered us welcome drinks and refreshments while we waited for the check in. The room is comfy and air-conditioned. The breakfast is lovely with made-to-order eggs. They serve breakfast until 11am while the check out time is 12pm. We can totally enjoy ourselves in the morning.
We are so glad we listened to the other reviews! What a gem of a hotel, perfect location and a perfect welcome to Venice! The hotel and our room were immaculately clean, the customer service was faultless and the little touches make such a difference. There was a bottle of complimentary prosecco in our room on arrival chilled in a bucket of ice which was very welcome after our journey! Free bottles of water in the mini bar and complimentary hand fan to help keep us cool in the heatwave as well as a nice memento to take home. Breakfast was delicious too! We couldn't have asked for more, if you are thinking of staying at hotel moresco then don't hesitate! 5 stars from us! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
My wife and I stayed at Hotel Moresco for three nights and would definitely stay there again. The biggest strength of this hotel is the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Check-in was a particularly nice experience—they welcomed us with a complimentary drink while they handled the paperwork and delivered our luggage to the room. Check-out was equally smooth, simple, and fast. The location was convenient for exploring Venice and felt very safe. The only challenge was getting to and from the train station with luggage, as crossing multiple bridges can be difficult when rolling suitcases. Our room was clean, well maintained, quiet, and comfortable. We had a balcony, which was a nice feature, although the view itself was not especially memorable. The bed was very comfortable, allowing for a good night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. The only drawback in the room was that the water pressure in the shower could have been better. Breakfast was included and was excellent. The buffet was attractively presented, and made-to-order eggs were available each morning. The hotel also offered an afternoon aperitivo spread, which was a pleasant touch, although alcoholic drinks required an additional charge. Overall, Hotel Moresco provided excellent value for the combination of service, comfort, and location. The attentive staff and thoughtful hospitality made our stay especially enjoyable, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.
Me and my wife had yet another lovely visit to Hotel Moresco. The service alone is enough to make us book a room whenever we are in Venice. The rooms are clean and spacious with some sounds leaking through the door (probably due to fire regulations). Our room (201) was next to the elevator, and you could hear the elevator moving, but it wasn't loud enough to bother us. The breakfast area is small but cozy, and they have managed to offer a very nice selection of fruits, meats, cold cuts, cheeses, pastries and juices. They also offer to prepare eggs in different ways and ask if you'd like coffee (we had cappuccino). There is also a lounge with happy hour. They had a nice selection of drinks and a nice spread of different pintxos.
We loved this hotel. Great location, 15 minutes from train and bus station but on a quiet non busy area, still close to restaurants and shops. Happy hour with cocktails and cicchetti. Cute little patio, great breakfast. The staff and service were fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. The only bad thing was the wifi but that’s minor.
