Reviews
We had a fabulous short stay at NH Venezia Santa Lucia. We had a Murano glass chandelier in our bedroom and double doors to a small balcony overlooking the grand canal. The check-in staff were helpful and polite, a good choice for breakfast. The Hotel is near the train station and water us stops, ideal really. We was very please with what we got for the money we paid, thankyou very much. ❤️
I stayed here for one night during a business trip. The rooms are a little outdated, but everything functioned well. The temperature control worked properly, and there was plenty of hot water, which is more than I can say for some other hotels I have stayed at recently. Breakfast offered a good variety of the usual eggs, meats, yogurt, and fruit. It was not quite as impressive as the breakfast at the NH Amsterdam I visited a few days earlier, but it was perfectly adequate. Even though this is a busy season in Venice, the dining area was not crowded when I went down at 8:00 in the morning. The location is this hotel's best feature. Since it's right by the central train station, there's plenty of water bus and taxis to take you anywhere in Venice. There's also a stop nearby that will take you to Marco Polo Airport by boat. Although I must warn you, that ride will take 2 hours so plan accordingly. The surrounding areas also had plenty of restaurants to pick from. Venice is not that big so I had no trouble walking into the heart of Venice to wander around and find a restaurants to try.
Staying at NH Venezia Santa Lucia was an absolute pleasure and made our Venice trip incredibly smooth. If you are arriving by train, the location is unbeatable—it is just a few steps away from the Santa Lucia train station. Anyone who knows Venice knows how exhausting it can be to drag heavy luggage over countless stone bridges, but this hotel completely saves you from that hassle. We absolutely loved the hotel, but what truly made our stay special was the reception team. The front desk staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and a very warm attitude. They were incredibly polite, kind, and hosted us wonderfully. Thanks to their amazing hospitality, we felt truly valued. The rooms were fantastic as well; absolutely spotless, highly comfortable, and spacious. Between the comfort of the room and the wonderful approach of the team, it was a perfect experience. If we visit Venice again, this will definitely be our only choice!
The rooms were small. But absolutely beautiful! The hotel is clean and nice looking. The location was amazing. Close to the trains and the water stops for multiple different types of water transport. The best part overall, was how kind the staff were. Valentina told us all about the area and was so informative and Shoriful was very kind and helpful and answered all of my questions.
Excellent location next to the Santa Lucia station. Had a first floor balcony room and great place to watch the crowds. Excellent check-in (thanks Marco!), prompt room cleaning, and an excellent breakfast. Great beds and pillows. Rooms are a bit dated, but it is an old building afterall. Would recommend to save hauling luggage all over bridges & boats.
