Beautiful hotel, superb location, very attentive staff and overall fantastic service. Had most enjoyable three night stay in May 2026! Our suite came with the use of the balcony overlooking the Grand Canal, which we enjoyed at breakfast and in the evening with a glass of bubbly.
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Palazzo Barbarigo. Nicoletta and Stefano were amazing hosts and gave us several recommendations and arranged for us to go to Murano. Amazing service and amazing staff.
(Third time to Venice and third hotel) Stayed in a Luxury room in May 2024. When in Venice I insist on staying on a canal. From the moment we entered the hotel, from our personal water taxi we were impressed and knew that this would be a good stay. We didn’t know that it would turn out to be a great stay! The owner, a lovely, pleasant woman treated us as if she was welcoming to her home (she does live on-site). We saw her many times during our 3 night stay whether it was to leave our room key at reception or stop at the bar for an evening cocktail. Our room was dark and moody. Renovated and spotless. A decent size along with a good sized washroom. Location fantastic. Our other two Venice stays were on the other side of the grand canal and this time we wanted to try a different local. This location was a little less busy but we didn’t suffer for it at all. Our only issue was that there is only one (amazing) balcony to sit at and have breakfast or a cocktail while watching the action over the grand canal. We wish that there were more of them but understand it’s not possible. One evening while sitting there we watched water taxi after water taxi arrive at the event space next door (we never heard sounds coming from this space). Each taxi unloaded amazingly impressively dressed (mega rich) persons. Fun. We are considering another trip to Venice in 2027 and will be looking at staying here again!
An unforgettable stay in Venice We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel last year, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. Without a doubt, it was the best hotel we could have chosen to stay at in Venice. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The staff made us feel special and truly cared for throughout our stay. When we mentioned that we were celebrating our first anniversary together, they went above and beyond by upgrading us to a spacious and beautiful suite, even though we had originally booked a smaller room. This unexpected and thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and made our stay even more memorable. The room was elegant, spotless, and extremely comfortable, with great attention to detail. The location was perfect—ideal for exploring Venice while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Even now, a year later, we still remember this stay with great joy. This hotel truly made our trip special, and we would absolutely return and recommend it to anyone visiting Venice
