This hotel is just a backup plan for me. (*Back story- I’ve been cancelled by hotels before, what’s worst is that they will cancel you last minute. So I always have a back up plan.) And I’m glad I did. This hotel is very lovely! Customer service specially in the breakfast room and the bar is amazing. The bartender also gave me a short tour and history of the hotel. They’re very friendly and accomodating. The rooms’ size is good. I picked this hotel because it feels so Venice, like vintage, classy style. And the breakfast is fantastic, so don’t skip breakfast. The location is also a plus. Only 5 minutes walk from San’t Angelo dock and 10 minutes walk from San Marco square. We had a very lovely stay here and will definitely go back if we visit Venice again in the future.
This place is head and shoulders above most hotels I've been in. They make you feel like a VIP with their service. The staff is awesome. Room was huge, clean and well prepared. Location is amazing and I would rebook in a heartbeat.
Beautiful hotel, professional and welcoming staff. Rooms are beautiful, including such a comfortable bed and amazing bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic, variety of prepared buffet options and fresh food and drinks offered. Would highly recommend staying here!
Unfortunately, our experience with this hotel was quite disappointing. I booked it for three people, including my mother to celebrate her 70th birthday, so this stay was very important to us. When you first enter the hotel and see the reception area and common spaces, it looks beautiful and gives the impression of an almost five-star hotel. However, the rooms we received were very mediocre and felt more like a three-star hotel. The first room had a very unpleasant smell, which immediately made the stay uncomfortable and ruined the first impression. We were also disappointed with the breakfast situation. We were told that even if we wanted to pay extra, breakfast would not be available, and that this was “common everywhere in Venice,” not just in this hotel. This explanation felt strange and not very customer-oriented. It is very unfortunate that I chose this hotel for such a special family occasion.
We will definitely be coming here again. Brilliant location, not in the busiest parts but a perfect walking distance to anything we wanted to do. Our room was spacious and clean, with complimentary water and coffee, tea etc. very appreciated. Every single staff member was lovely - greeting us each time we passed and very welcoming. The breakfast was brilliant, far beyond what we expected, with the waiting staff there being particularly good. We also spent a couple of hours in the bar, where we had some lovely cocktails served again by a very attentive staff member. I would absolutely recommend this place to stay - thank you!
