Hotel Panorama was the perfect place to stay for our family trip to Venice. Located on the Lido, it's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city to be peaceful and relaxing, yet the frequent water taxis make it incredibly easy to reach all of Venice's main attractions in just a few minutes. We actually found ourselves looking forward to returning to the Lido each evening after a busy day sightseeing. The hotel is also just a short walk from the beach, with plenty of lovely cafés, restaurants and gelato shops nearby. What really made our stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming and genuinely cared that we had a great stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, whether it was answering questions, offering recommendations or helping us with transport. Their hospitality was exceptional and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast on the terrace each morning was a real highlight, with beautiful views across the lagoon towards Venice. We chose one of the attic rooms and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. As a family of four, we had plenty of room, and the room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and offered exceptional views. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would happily recommend Hotel Panorama to anyone looking for a relaxing base with easy access to Venice. It offered the perfect balance of peaceful surroundings, excellent service and a fantastic location.
My family and I spent 3 nights at this hotel and we loved it. The service was great, it's very centrally located, close to transportation, and you can walk to the beach. It's also near a restaurant, supermarket, laundry, and a souvenir shop. The room was very comfortable with a spectacular view, and the breakfast was very complete and delicious. I highly recommend it, and if I return to Venice, I would definitely stay at this same hotel again.
We recently stayed at the Hotel Panorama and would happily stay again. The location was excellent with great transport links, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby, and the beach less than a 15 minute walk away. It was also nice being away from the heavy hustle and bustle of central Venice while still being able to reach everything easily. We were given a lovely garden room which was clean, comfortable and very nice indeed. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately our airline lost our luggage, but the hotel went above and beyond by helping with some laundry and advising us on the best places locally to buy clothing and toiletries. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice each morning. The owner was charming and an absolute delight to speak to, and one of the younger female staff members was especially funny, polite and helpful. We tried our best to speak a little Italian where possible. We feel making the effort is always appreciated rather than expecting everyone to speak your language, and the staff were lovely with us. The hotel is near roads, but the buses are electric and the boats were not overly noisy at all, it’s a real working town with residents, which we actually enjoyed. One tip for visitors: the best value transport option is definitely the 72 hour Vaporetto pass. Overall a fantastic stay and somewhere we would definitely return to.
Perfect location and staff very friendly. We are gluten free and the free breakfast was spot on and very well equipped for all. Gluten free products and also soya milk for milk allergy. Rooms very clean. Has tea and coffee facilities and a mini fridge. Local restaurants and a shop a 1 minute walk away. Would happily stay again. Eugenio on reception is so lovely.
We stayed here for three nights. The room was very small but cozy. It was very clean and had a beautiful view. The bed was a bit hard but still comfortable. The shower stall—especially the entrance—was very small and could cause problems for larger travellers. The minibar was empty. Also, the heating was not on, although they kindly turned it on when we asked. Overall, the staff were very friendly. The breakfast room was cozy and had large windows. The options were sufficient, also for vegetarians, but maybe not for vegans. The vegetables could have been fresher, and the eggs cooked a little less (the yolks were mostly grey). Some food items also ran out quite quickly and were replaced slowly. The location is great for those who don’t want to stay on the busy main islands of Venice. The vaporettos ran often from the stops next to the hotel. Overall, the experience was very good, although I would say that the hotel currently feels more like a 3-star than a 4-star hotel.
