Hotel Rigel

Reviews
We stayed at Hotel Rigel on the Lido for three nights last week with my wife and two little dogs, and once again it was a very good experience. We know the Lido quite well, as we usually spend part of the winter there, but when we need to be there during the summer, Hotel Rigel is always a great choice. The rooms are excellent, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful without ever being intrusive. The Wi-Fi worked very well, which is always useful, and the garden is a lovely place to relax. Breakfast was also very nice, with a good selection and a pleasant atmosphere. Super pet friendly!! Overall, Hotel Rigel is a reliable, welcoming, and very well-run hotel. We will happily stay there again.
Stayed here for 5 days. Nice room with kettle. Tea and coffee available. Nice lobby with bar area. Several staff, Marco and Selina were both especially helpful and made our stay comfortable. It was warm and they provided a fan to cool down. Breakfast was ok also. Would recommend
We loved our stay in this retro hotel. It's clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is nice and the staff lovely. Lido is just a short ride with vaporetto away from the bustling city of Venice. We will stay here once we return to this pearl of the Adriatic.
An old and a bit outdated hotel, but the rooms are clean and the staff is nice. My room was very small and basically only had a bed, a wardrobe and a bathroom. No table apart from a mini shelf where the electric kettle was (but no power outlet, and there wasn't any free outlets anywhere else either, I had to unplug the lamp to charge my phone). There was one wooden chair but I had to put the bed spread and my clothes there, so there wasn't anywhere to sit but on the bed. But I was traveling solo so it was ok, and I anyway think the room was meant only for one person. The breakfast buffet is good. It has all the basics. They could upgrade the coffee machine though. There is only one and it's suuuper slow, so you have to queue quite a while for your coffee. The hotel is located a short walk from the Lido harbor, and it's a 15 minute ride to the Venice main island side.
