We really enjoyed our stay here! We spent most of our time on Murano for glass activities & this location was so convenient as it was steps off the water ferry. It was also nice to be away from the major crowds & congestion of Venice. Room was a bit small & the AC wasn’t very strong, but otherwise the facilities were very nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well! Great customer service from staff & the cafe out front had the perfect views of the water!

This was a dream stay. The room is spectacular. The hotel is amazing. It was once the old glass-blowing factory. It's quiet, it's dark at night, it's right by a church, and a fantastic glass blowing attraction. Breakfast was phenomenal, I don't think the service could have been better anywhere. They have a area to relax after your long day outside as you come in. They have entertainment. One night there was a saxophone player. Another night they had a man with a hawk out in front that all the kids were taking pictures with. There's a water taxi right in front of the hotel. And you can get to Burano and Venice in a short time by water taxi. My favorite hotel experience in Italy. One bummer was the spa was closed.

Hyatt Centric Murano Venice is a great option if you prefer a quieter stay away from the crowds. While the location may not be ideal for first-time visitors who plan to spend most of their time at Venice’s main tourist attractions, it offers a more relaxed atmosphere and a chance to experience a different side of the city. We also appreciated the complimentary champagne provided in our room as a welcome drink. Although we do not drink alcohol, it was still a thoughtful gesture and a nice touch upon arrival. We would especially like to thank Julia at the front desk for her outstanding service. She was incredibly attentive and genuinely cared about helping guests. When our water taxi was running late, she immediately stopped what she was doing to call and check on its status for us. The next day, during the strike on May 29, Julia proactively made sure our taxi arrangements were confirmed and arrived on time, ensuring that our travel plans were not affected. What impressed us most was her personal touch. She greeted us during breakfast in morning and remembered us whenever she saw us around the hotel. Those small gestures made us feel genuinely welcome and valued as guests. Her professionalism, warmth, and willingness to go above and beyond made a big difference in our stay. Thank you, Julia, for making our Venice trip much smoother and more enjoyable.

This was our first trip to Venice and I had no idea where to stay. We booked this location and...WOW!...we were not disappointed. First of all the location is fantastic, on the island of Murano, away from most of the crowded city. The water transport station is directly in front of the hotel; easy on/off. The lobby area is really nice and nicely decorated using glass objects made right there in Murano. We enjoyed the fact the hotel stayed true to the location and used glass from local glass artists. The staff were professional and kind. The room was great, no complaints at all, quiet and restful sleep. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Venice!

The Highlights: The Hyatt Centric Murano is a physically beautiful hotel in a perfect location for those arriving by train. It’s situated right on the water, literally steps from the Vaporetto stop, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel is in immaculate condition—spotlessly clean, modern, and very quiet. As a Globalist, I found the rooms to be high-quality and the breakfast to be excellent, including the very warm, friendly breakfast staff. Areas for Improvement: While the "hardware" of the hotel is 5-star, the "software" (service) is where things slowed down: • Front Desk Staffing: Most times of the day, there was only one staff member available. This led to a very long check-in process; it took about 15 minutes per room, meaning our party waited at the desk for 30 minutes just to get settled. • Problem Resolution: We encountered a very simple misunderstanding regarding breakfast charges. What should have been a 30-second fix at the front desk turned into a significant time-sink because the local team was quite rigid and unwilling to discuss the issue. • Resolution Process: We eventually had to involve Hyatt Corporate customer service to resolve the discrepancy. While the issue was settled in the end, it was an inefficient use of everyone's time for something that could—and should—have been handled locally. Final Verdict: I would still recommend this hotel for the fantastic facilities and the peaceful Murano atmosphere. However, pack a little extra patience for the check-in lines, and be aware that the front desk team currently lacks the flexibility to solve minor guest issues on the spot. Management has a great opportunity here to empower their staff to actually listen to the guests side of the story and resolve concerns at the local level, saving everyone time and frustration.
