Hosts were highly professional and generous in service. We came across a small problem with our reservation, but the hosts went above and beyond to correct the situation and ensure we were well accommodated. Thank you! Located in very convenient area around central plaza but just enough distance to give quiet and peace from the large tourist crowds.

We stayed at Palazzo San Lorenzo for 3 nights as a family, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the very first moment, we were greeted by friendly, well-spoken receptionists who made us feel right at home. They also provide a lovely orientation guide upon arrival. Definitely take them up on the 6 PM taxi tour, it was a highlight of our trip! The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day. Breakfast had all the essentials you could ask for, freshly prepared and hassle-free. Now, the location: absolutely unbeatable. You can reach St. Mark's Square in under 10 minutes on foot, yet the hotel itself is tucked away in a quiet area, far from the overwhelming crowds and tourist chaos. Right outside, you'll find great restaurants, souvenir shops, and gelaterias. If you're looking for a luxurious yet great-value stay in a safe, peaceful, and family-friendly environment, Palazzo San Lorenzo is a must when in Venice. We can't wait to come back!

My stay at Palazzo San Lorenzo was excellent. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Venice but still only a short walk from Piazza San Marco, which makes it a perfect base for exploring the city. The room was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated in a classic Venetian style. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to recommend good restaurants or interesting places to visit. Breakfast was very good, with fresh products and great Italian coffee. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again on my next visit to Venice.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel in Venice, and while it had some excellent qualities, there were also some areas that fell short of expectations. *Positive Aspects:* - The hotel's location was ideal, allowing for easy access to various attractions. - The room was clean and well-maintained, with excellent housekeeping services provided by Jane. *Areas for Improvement:* - Upon arrival, we had pre-arranged for arrival services and luggage assistance, which unfortunately were not delivered as promised. - The check-in process was rushed, and the concierge presented a lengthy list of recommendations in a manner that seemed overly scripted and focused on touristy activities rather than personalized suggestions. - We experienced issues with our pre-arranged taxi boat departure, which was late and caused concern about missing our train. When we inquired about the delay, we were informed it was due to traffic, but the boat driver later mentioned receiving the hotel's call very late, suggesting a possible miscommunication or lack of coordination. - Notably, the front desk staff seemed to lack a welcoming approach, as we were never greeted, even if we greeted first. Some of the young trainees make and effort but the older staff, especially the men, ignore you. *Conclusion:* While the hotel's location and room quality were strengths, the issues with the front office and concierge services detracted from our overall experience. With some improvements in communication, staff training, and attention to guest needs, and an overall atitude adjustment of the concierge, this hotel could significantly enhance its service quality and better meet the expectations of its guests.
