Reviews
We spent a single night but it was a really good experience. The room is simple but very practical: quiet, clean, spatious and good air conditioning. Breakfast is basic continental but with plenty of options of fruit, sweet and savoury local food served in a lovely and comfy dining room. Dogs are welcome. In addition this is a very lovely neighborhood with a great bookstore and a good combination of trendy and classic cafes + restaurants meant for both tourists and residents.
Friendly, helpful staff, great area for eating and drinking out, easy to reach a lot of interesting places on foot
We stayed at **Residenza Briati** in Venice. The room was nice, spacious, and airy, and the bathroom was clean and modern. The hotel’s location was also very good, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful—they even offered us coffee, which we really appreciated. However, there were a few issues during our stay. There were mosquitoes in the room, which made it difficult to sleep at night. Also, even when we closed the windows, a lot of noise came from outside, so the sound insulation was not very good. Another point of confusion was that the check-in building was different from the building where we stayed, which caused some uncertainty at first. We had already paid the city tax via Booking.com, but we were charged again at check-in. Since the amount was small and the staff were very polite, we didn’t question it further, but we didn’t fully understand the reason. Apart from the mosquito and noise issues, everything else was as expected and overall our stay was pleasant.
