Had a brilliant stay at this hotel. It’s in the perfect location, right in the heart of Venice and 1 minute walk away from a waterbus station that goes directly to the airport. The hotel is lovely too, friendly staff and free iced tea in the lobby. The rooms were very clean with AMAZING air con! The rooms were small but you have to remember you’re in an older building in Venice. Fine for me and my partner with our big bags each. If I am lucky enough to return to Venice, will try and book here again if there’s availability!

The hotel itself was very beautiful and clean, and overall we had a pleasant stay there. The rooms and the general level of cleanliness were certainly in order. What was really disappointing, however, is the private transfer that was offered via their website and for which we paid €220. We booked through their website a “Private transfer from Venice Marco Polo Airport - 2PAX”, including “LIMO VIP + WATER TAXI”, clearly presented as a premium service with meet & greet at the airport, a VIP vehicle, and a direct boat transfer to the hotel. In reality, however, this did not correspond at all to what was promised. Upon arrival, there was no driver present and we had to call ourselves. Initially, the driver said he would arrive within 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, we called again, and we were told that another driver would come, and that we had to walk outside to an Uber pick-up point where someone would collect us. After waiting there as well, under the sun, for another 20 minutes, the driver finally arrived. It was therefore clear that they had simply forgotten about us. The vehicle was anything but VIP transport and was rather old and uncomfortable. We were then dropped off at the stop where the water taxi was supposed to pick us up and take us to the hotel dock, located at the hotel quay. This was the very reason why we chose this service: to have a beautiful and unforgettable experience in Venice. However, the water taxi did not take us directly to the hotel, meaning we still had to walk a part of the journey with our luggage, just like all other regular water taxis. We were in shock. When we raised this at the hotel, we were told to send an email. When we emailed, we received various excuses, but it is still not clear to us why the service provided does not match the service advertised on their website. For the return journey, we arranged the same transfer ourselves through local transport services and only paid €9.50 per person, instead of the €220 we had paid for the “private transfer”. In short: the hotel itself is definitely recommended in terms of stay and cleanliness, but we strongly advise against using their private transport service as it does not correspond to the description and is far too expensive for what is actually delivered. EDIT TO THE ANSWER The fact that our flight arrived 20 minutes earlier than scheduled is not our fault either, nor does it explain why we still had to wait more than 30 minutes for what was advertised as a "VIP transfer." Furthermore, you state that the boat dropped us off 70 meters from shore rather than 200 meters, but once again you ignore the fact that your advertisement promised a drop-off at the dock. You suggest that this may have been due to water levels or similar conditions, which, on the one hand, was never explained to us, and on the other hand, would actually be a reason to compensate us for the failure to provide the advertised service. You did offer compensation, namely €30 for a service for which we paid €220. However, the fact that you still do not seem to understand that what was provided bore little resemblance to what was advertised demonstrates once again that it does not matter to you that you failed to deliver on your promises. This only further confirms the validity of our complaint.

Rooms are really small but spotlessly clean. It is situated about a 3 minute walk from St Mark's Square and 30 seconds from the nearest water bus stop, so location is just about perfect. The staff could have been more helpful, especially during check in and told us about needing a city pass exemption on our phone, this is essential if you leave the city on re entry and the hotel had the code you needed to do this. Otherwise quite happy with our choice.

A lovely hotel and great location. Our room had apparently previosly been occupied by a celebrity #WarwickDavis , a nice fun fact 😊 Very clean room and thoughtful detail with the anti mosquito wipes, which I highly recommend using 🦟 Fridge in the room. Complimentary juice in lobby. Suggestion for improvement is complimentary body lotion. Roof terrace is lovely although I wish smoking would be prohibited up there.

So first of all, I will start off with the positives. When I contacted the hotel to explain I was blind and ask if they could put us on a ground floor or first floor, Antonio explained that all rooms have four steps up to them but he would do his best, We did end up having a first floor room which was brilliant the breakfast at this hotel was amazing and you would never go hungry here it was fabulous it is very centrally located so a perfect place to stay. The staff here is so friendly and supportive we could not have asked for more when it comes down to the kindness of the staff but now onto the negatives, you should not be expected to have paper cups in the rooms. This is a massive no crockery should be in each room. This really let things down because you couldn’t have a fabulous hot drink as the paper cups soon let the drinks go cold. In the bathroom the floor was extremely slippery again this should not happen because people have disabilities and therefore it should have a fully nonslip surface. In the main rooms again floors were very slippery. This is not good at all for anyone because you can easily slip and hurt yourself. Also breakfast did start rather too late because the hotel was aware that the first pick up time for the airport transfer was at 0745 when. breakfast opened at 7:30. so you’re not have been able to have any food before you departed because it would have been very rushed. Also when you leave each day to go and explore you were expected to hand your key into reception this is not acceptable because anybody could have asked for your key but if it wasn’t it reception then you had total control of who went into your room
