Read through all of the reviews, and just about everything, everyone says is true. It is in a beautiful location. There are portable AC units and, for our stay, only a few stand up fans. The outside area is boisterous and loud. The staff, after check in, was hardly seen. Note on the staff - at check in they were extreemly friendly and allowed us to store our luggage at an early time so we could beging our time in this historic place. This is an apartment minus a kitchen. Rooms to sleep in, quickly relax in, and keep your belongings. There are 3 flights of stairs to your room, metal keys for each of the 3 doors to get to said room. A note about the keys; you have to play with the lock just a little to get use to it but they all work. For someone who grew up with key quirks this is no problem. For the younger generations, it is a learning experience. We visited Venice during the end of Spring, so yes, its hot and humid. However, its Venice; if you haven't done your homework on the time of year you visit, that is on you. The location of this stay is central to everything one wants to see. You can quickly and safely walk in any direction to get to your desired location. The price and location in Venice is hard to beat. Be OK with noise and heat and your stay will be enjoyable.
