Finding this beachside gem on the southern end of the Lido was the highlight of my day. It has a fantastic, relaxed vibe with great music playing in the background. It's the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy the beautiful views, and grab a cold, refreshing drink or a quick bite after a long swim. It feels completely unpretentious, and doesn't rush you at all. I will absolutely be coming back here!
I would recommend this Restaurant. Food: In total good drinks good food. We are a tourist group of 6. We ordered 2 Pizzas (Diavolo and Vegetaria), and Sandwiches, and Salad and 2 different Burgers. Sadly, they switched the burgers, first, they brought the Pura Vida Burger, and said, its Classic, so i ate it, then she brought the other one, we were half through the Burgers, then we recognized the switch. But it tasted good, even tho it didnt look that good. But the Salad Classico didnt taste good. So its 3/5 at food. Ambiente: The restaurant is at the beach, so the Ambiente is adapted to the atmosphere. Its really shady so very good for the sunny days. So its 5/5 at ambiente. Service: Very polite service, we didnt need to wait that long for seats and for the food. The waiter also did put more chairs to the table, so everybody can sit down. But like already said, the burgers were switched, so its 3/5 at the Service. If possible, i would give 3,5/5 at Service.
We visited Lido on our third day in Venice to escape the crowds and the calamity that was downtown. We walked to the beach. After spending about an hour there we got hungry so we found this place. Now look, I know what you're thinking. It's a beach bar. The food can't be any good, right? Wrong. This was actually the tastiest lunch we had in our time in Italy. That is saying a lot because the food here was incredible. We had the two sandwiches and although I can't speak for the rest of the menu, what I can tell you is that they were absolutely delicious. The drinks were reasonably priced and we were able to spend about an hour and a half here enjoying the view and taking in the sights. If you are heading to Lido and need a quick bite to eat, we would highly recommend this spot.
I highly recommend Pura Vida Beach Club! The location is absolutely beautiful (one of the nicest on the island) but what made it special for me was how kind and friendly everyone was. The staff were all so welcoming and polite, which made us feel really comfortable from the very beginning. The service was great too. We were a group of eight having lunch all together, and we were honestly surprised at how quickly everything arrived. It’s not easy to manage a big group so efficiently, but they handled it so smoothly! And the food… amazing! The club sandwich was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Everything tasted fresh and made with care, you can really tell they love what they do! If you’re looking for a chill spot by the sea with great food and lovely people, this is definitely the place to go. Five stars, I’d give even more if I could!
We came to Lido in mid April, not knowing, that the famous places like the grand Hotel Excelsior are actually closed (!!!). So where to get a coffee and cake at the beach ? Right,... The Pura Vida saved us. Great place right on the beach with very reasonable prices. I very much recommend it.
