Our room was large and had a French balcony towards the walking street and it was quiet (but loud neighbors could change that?). Breakfast was very good. They have a spa area and gym too. The atmosphere is outstanding and almost like entering the early 1900s era, but nothing feels worn really. Good, quiet air conditioning too. I highly recommend this place, if it fits your budget. We paid 232 € for a "Double or twin superior room" on a July Monday.
The photos of the rooms displayed on booking.com lead you to believe that your room will be more spacious and well appointed than it is. The sleeping space was fine, if small with very little space to put your luggage. The bathroom was great and the breakfast was filling and healthy. The hotel staff was helpful. The pictures on booking.com set your expectations high and then you enter your room and your like, "this is it?" I would still stay here again but with realistic expectations.
We just finished our 3 night stay at the hotel. It was a wonderful stay from the friendly, attentive and helpful staff to the beautiful Venetian decor. The room was large and beautiful. They made us feel very welcome; we absolutely loved our stay!!! Thank you for the hospitality!
Hotel was perfect for our 72 hour layover. From the moment you arrive, the staff and owners treat you like family. Warm, friendly, and fantastic service. Hotel was immaculate, rooms were quiet, and breakfast was plentiful to include eggs, cooked meats, vegetables, deli meats, yogurt, fruit, Italian pastries, cappuccino, and more!! Explore the hotel’s rooftop terrace or the abundance of high end designer shops right outside the entrance. Location was perfect to explore the many interesting attractions or to venture away from the crowds. Would consider hotel as a high-end boutique hotel. Exceeded our expectations!!
Hotel Saturnia exceeded our expectations in every way! The room was perfect for my wife and I as we started our Italy vacation. We took a private water taxi from Dock 7 outside the airport and were delivered to a landing very near the hotel. Easy to walk the remaining steps to the front door! The staff, both at the front desk and the Restaurant - especially the concierge and the maitre d - make the Hotel Saturnia a place to remember! We stayed 3 nights for our 50th wedding anniversary trip and could not have been treated better! We were so happy that we chose this place! They arranged the prerequisite gondola ride on the evening of our anniversary night, the dinner afterwards in the restaurant and the special attention we received there, was unimaginably wonderful! Venice was a destination that we will never forget thanks to the excellent staff! The location is amazing as well! Walking distance to anything you need, including all the high-end and luxury shopping destinations, as well as quaint small Italian bistros and bars! We certainly look forward to coming back in the future! Grazie!
