Vizietto
Venice

This lovely bàcaro on a piazza in San Polo is bustling inside and out. It’s a bit hip and a bit noisy – especially in the crowded front bar – so if you fancy somewhere quieter, ask for a seat at the rustic wooden table in the cellar, an oasis lined with interesting wines. Vizietto is a spritz-free zone as their focus is small producer natural wines – trust the friendly knowledgeable staff to guide you to the likes of a Prosecco 'col fondo' or Trentino rosato for a perfect aperitivo.
Not sure where the negative reviews about overcharging or bad service are coming from, because that was not our experience at all. We ordered in our broken Italian, paid exactly what the menu said and in general had a lovely evening. Great service, really nice atmosphere outside at night. Conveniently close to the station if you are not staying in Venice and need to keep an eye on the time.
Although staff is very friendly, the cocktail was very mediocre. Moscow mule with TONIC WATER?? It was a joke of a drink. Had some beer which was decent, although the selection was small. 3 stars because although the location is nice with plenty of space, the drinks are not something I would recommend here, only wine maybe because you know…it’s wine.
