All'Angelo Art Hotel
Venice
Reseñas
I don’t usually give reviews, but do not live in this hotel. Firstly, room was old, had a smell, and the water came out very slowly. However, the main problem was the service of the hotel. I felt like the reception wasn’t rude, but wasn’t kind either and always talked to you in a tone that seemed like judging you. I admit it was my fault, but I accidentally booked the hotel for 1 guest instead of 2. However, when arrive they told us it would charge extra 80 euros per night for the second guest, which was 60% of the room price itself, where it was just 10 euros more on booking platforms. However after discussing, it was reduced to 60 euros, although we enjoy the discount, it felt like it was more of a scam rather than a negotiable fee from the hotel. Lastly, it isn’t really their fault, but there was a fire in the hotel? An oven fire from the Restauraunt? I don’t think they should put someone who can’t cook inside the kitchen.
Rooms are specious, bathrooms are outdated, bad water pressure. Beds are not comfortable and linens are not what you would expect for a 4 star hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful, overall not worth the money we paid for the nightly room, aside from it being in a great location. The bar tender/manager is also amazing.
Excellent hotel at the heart of Venice, ~15 min or less walk from everywhere. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful with questions, especially our excellent bartender Natalia who we tried to visit every night because we had such fun conversing with. Highly recommended!
What a gem ! This is a great hotel! I guess I'll start with the service, the team at the desk was always polite, professional, and always greeted you as you came in. There's an elevator so it's easy to get to your room if you're tired from walking all day. The Angelo Art Cafè which is right next to the lobby downstairs has equally great service and good drinks and food. The room was huge and had a couch, comfortable bed, and a full size tub (and the hotel provides slippers which my wife loved). The view was great, it was hard not to look out the window while we were there. The breakfast was also varied and delicious and their coffee machine made an amazing cappuccino. You're literally a 3 minute walk away from Piazza San Marco so the location was fantastic. We would stay here again in a heartbeat !
