Description

You will be met by an English speaking guide and you'll board a private water taxi to discover the uniqueness of the Grand Canal. You'll relax while listening to your guide, explaining the history and art of the city, and looking at the beauty of Venice unfolding in front of your eyes. You'll navigate the whole Grand Canal, then some minor typical canals of the city, up to the North side of the Lagoon, where there is the island of Murano. In Murano you'll get off at the private dock of one of the oldest and biggest glass factories of the island, to see a demonstration about the world-famous glass production. A representative of the glass factory will explain about the techniques and the materials that the Glass Masters have been using for centuries. The Glass Master will make a couple of items in front of your eyes and at the end, you will try to blow the glass (it is a simple try, you won't shape any object), a very fun experience! After the demonstration you can have a look at our showroom and see the most beautiful pieces produced in Murano. Then a private water taxi will take you back to Venice.
