Children under 3 are free at all sites and museums in Venice. In some private museums the limit is 12 years old. In public museums the limit is 18 years old. Public transportation for children under 6 is free. For many attraction passes there is no need to book in advance. However, some may have limited capacity, so you will need to book in advance.
