Attention please, this tour is only available Friday/Saturday every week. Begin your evening at St. Mark’s Square, the heart of Venice. As the sun begins its descent, the crowds of the day begin to thin, and a soft golden light washes over the ornate façades. The square takes on a serene, almost dreamlike quality, its grandeur made more intimate by the hush of early evening. Step into the Doge’s Palace, its marble exterior glowing in the waning light like polished ivory. Inside, the opulent chambers, gilded ceilings, and dramatic artworks take on a richer tone, their shadows deepening as natural light fades. At this hour, the palace feels more mysterious, the echo of footsteps and the hushed atmosphere enhancing the sense of walking through centuries of Venetian history. Wander through the Chambers of the Doge's Palace and finish by the Chamber of the Great Council, where the fate of the Republic was once debated beneath Tintoretto’s towering canvases. Cross the Bridge of Sighs, and imagine the poignant final glimpses prisoners once caught of Venice’s beauty as they passed from the palace to the prisons.
