We will host this event in Anbesa showroom, you are entering a real Incense kingdom! 20 years of studying, researching, importing and trading the best aromatic raw materials. We'll drive you through a journey on the history of Serenissima's trade with Middle-East and Far-East. Stato da Terra e Stato da Mar. The aromatics imported from Venice and their different uses and purposes. An olfactive journey through the different aromas of Frankincense, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Oud, Labdanum and many others.

The first part of our meeting is dedicated to a fascinating tale about the orientalist history of Venice and its glorious trade with Middle-East and Far-East. We'll explore many aromatic products which were imported and well known in Venice markets, their uses in medicine, cosmetics, arts and religious rituals. In the second part an olfactory journey through a wide selection of these exotic fragrances, like Incense, myrrh, mastic, sandalwood, colophony, copal and many others taken from the massive collection of our Incensarium, will drive your mind to far regions, place of origin of the precious perfumes, revealing many inner secrets and characteristics of each.
