Start near the 12th-century church of San Giacometto in Rialto. Explore the Old and New Market. Cross the 16th bridge on the Grand Canal. From the famous bridge, admire the view of the canal and see some of the unique houses of different centuries. Next, visit the area where Marco Polo lived. See the San Giovanni e Paolo church and visit the famous “libreria Acqua alta” with books everywhere on shelves and on one big gondola inside the bookshop. At the end, visit San Mark’s Square and see the unique San Mark’s Basilica with its beautiful mosaics. Please note: The entrance ticket to St. Mark’s Basilica is not included in the price of this tour.
