Description

Venture into the heart of Venice to discover this unique city and its most famous symbol, the Doge's Palace. The tour is divided into two parts, and it will take you to discover the places and history of the Venice of the Doges. You will begin with a walking tour, which will you to wander (and wonder) along the many beauties of Venice and its peaceful channels. Your experienced guide will take you to discover the hidden corners, and teach you interesting facts about what life is like in a city of water, as well as about Venice's past. Once having left the most crowded streets, you will enjoy a piece of a more hidden Venice. This part of Venice sees gondola's sliding silently on the green canals, or Venetian people living their everyday lives. Venetian people are still very much the heart of this city, which seems to exist suspended between imagination and reality. On the second part of the tour, you will visit the Doge’s Palace and the halls of power, immersing yourself in Medieval Europe, among the stuccoed halls and hundreds of masterpieces.

  • The only entrance will be at the Doge's Palace, all other sites will be described from outside
  • No refunds will be accepted for no shows or late arrivals
  • The tour will operate rain or shine, in the event of the exceptional high tide it might be canceled and refunds will be provided
  • The Doge's Palace will be at 11:45 AM. Between the Walking tour and the Doge's Palace guided tour you will have approx a 1 hour-break.
