Description
What we are going to do We will meet at the meeting point in Venice, where our skipper will be waiting for us. After an initial welcoming moment, we will board the boat, a vintage wooden boat, and begin the experience. We will sail to the Mulino Stucky, a historic building dating back to the late 1800s and now used as a hotel. Then we will take the Giudecca Canal and cross the Venetian lagoon to St. Mark's Basin, the space in front of the magnificent square of the same name. Next, we will pass through the Castello sestiere and reach the Arsenale, the shipyard complex that from the 12th century was the heart of the Serenissima's shipbuilding industry and weapons production. Today, part of the structure is used by the Venice Biennale for contemporary art exhibitions. Having resumed navigation, we will go to Murano, where we will stop for about 30 minutes to visit a glassworks and discover the secrets of glassmaking thanks to the explanations of a glassmaker. Then it will be time to return to the starting pointIncludes
