Explore the Venetian lagoon on a boat tour from Zattere area in the Dorsoduro district. Visit the islands of Murano, Burano, Mazzorbo, Torcello, and San Francesco del Deserto. Stop at a glass furnace in Murano and see the art of glass blowing and shaping. Start from the Zattere area in the Dorsoduro district. Navigate through the Giudecca Island and reach the northern side of the lagoon. Pass by the famous island of San Michele and reach Murano Island. Stop at one of the oldest glass furnaces in Murano and see the art of glass blowing and shaping. Continue to Burano Island, famous for its bright colored houses and lace production. Have a stop and take a walk around the island. Navigate a wild side of the lagoon among marsh and nature and reach Mazzorbo and then Torcello, the first settlement in the Venice lagoon. Have a small walk to the Basilica Church with its Byzantine Architecture. Upon request, visit the island of San Francesco del Deserto, an old Franciscan monks island. Head back to Venice going inside the Arsenale, one of the world’s oldest shipyards, and enjoy a panoramic view of St. Marc’s Square.
