Head to the meeting point and get ready to discover the food and culture of Venice. Set off with your guide and the rest of your group and make your way to some of the tastiest spots that Venice has to offer. Visit independently owned bars and restaurants and sample both traditional and modern Venetian fare. Taste local flavors while learning about cicchetti (small snacks), wine, and daily life in the city. Try over 15 different varieties of food taken from menus which often change seasonally and place a strong emphasis on local ingredients. Throughout the tour, immerse yourself in Venetian culture through its gastronomy, history, and architecture as you listen to stories from your expert guide. Sample local staples like creamed cod fish, freshly made pasta, pastries which are fresh out of the oven, local coffee, as well as more modern dishes with local fish (other seasonal alternatives are available upon request). Along the way, you'll also see many iconic locations in the city.
