I was so focused on getting a good sandwich in Florence, little did I know we would find the best one of the whole trip, and maybe one of the best sandwiches ever, in Venice!! Run don’t walk to get a sandwich here for an amazing lunch. The Pastrami Special of the day was really good, but the Coppa was outstanding! The bread is hot and fresh and the meat was cut fresh in front of us. We went on a rainy day so we sat in the few high top counter seats, but if it’s a nice day out there we’re quite a few outside tables overlooking the canal.
We loved this little place. Kind and pleasant folks with some delicious snacks to enjoy with a cold beer on a beautiful Venice evening.
Great paninis and the cocktails were rather good ! The choice of wine was on top, very good recommendation from the lady as well !
Very nicely located with a warm atmosphere. The sandwiches were freshly made and full of amazing flavour. The bar staff were very knowledgeable about wines — even though we weren’t — and helped us find one we really liked. We actually went there twice during our short trip. Definitely worth a visit!
Probably some of the best panini I will eat in my life, so delectable! We tried the Soppresa and the Mortadella and both were amazing. The bread is so fresh and all the flavors go together perfectly. Great drinks and wine too with very friendly staff. Great place to sit outside and watch life go by, even when it is raining.
