We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! — But I must say the highlight of our stay was Ms. Claudia, when I say she went above and beyond for us, I really mean it. She was very warm & inviting from the get-go and had the sweetest nature about her. She made sure our room was fully equipped with absolutely anything we needed, and brought us up extra waters and towels, to make sure we had all necessities & more. This was our first time in Venice so we had trouble finding out how to return back to the airport in the very early morning. After we asked Claudia what our options were, she took it upon herself to call a taxi-man, that she knew, to pick us up. Not only that, she walked us down to the canal where the taxi man was waiting and made sure we got on the boat safely. Claudia you are truly so wonderful. Thank you so very much.
Had an amazing time here! The staff are so friendly and hospitable, always greeting us with a smile. Also the location is great as it’s quite close to all of the main tourist attractions.
I had the most beautiful stay here. While the rooms are small, they are decorated in the spirit of Venezia, there’s thoughtful attention to every detail, and the bed was most comfortable - everything was considered, I felt really looked after. The staff are 10/10, all lovely, exhibiting a kindness that makes it a really memorable stay. I highly recommend and hope to return here in the future. I also recommend the breakfast - a great spread, their chef made me an omelette to order, which was delicious.
Wonderful stay at Hotel Santo Stefano The entire house, run by Mrs. Gloria and her team, has the special charm of an old Venetian building right in the heart of San Maurizio. Mrs. Claudia was incredibly warm and attentive from the very beginning. She took care of all our needs – you feel welcome instantly. We spent two nights here and felt completely at ease. The décor is truly Venetian – lovingly detailed and beautiful to look at. The beds are wonderfully comfortable – no bouncing around when your partner turns over, just restful sleep. Overall, a warm, family-run place with plenty of character and wonderful service. Would happily return!
Stayed here on my 3rd visit to Venice. While the hotel was beautiful and centrally located, the best part of the stay was the staff! So, so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Helped me organise a small surprise for my mum for her birthday and were so kind to my baby girl. Rooms are small but basically all hotel rooms in Venice are like this! Beautifully decorated and the location is central but not overcrowded or noisy. Lovely breakfast. Family friendly and just fantastic.
