This was the first Chiccetti we had in Venice and probably the best! It all felt super fresh. The bartenders were very friendly and patient. The crab salad was without a doubt the best we had in the city. They also had lots of local beer and XL Spritz for 5 euros. Great seating on the edge of a canal. We just wish we would’ve had time to return for a second time during our trip.
My group went to Birreria Zanon several times during our trip to Venice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making us feel truly welcome. There was seating indoors and outdoors near the canal. I recommend their artisanal spritz with the handcrafted bitters, as well as their Bomba Calabra cicchetto (although all flavors we sampled were excellent). Grazie mille!
Really slick place for cicchete and a cold beer. Everything tasted great with a variety of options to suite taste- the spacy crab paired well with a house beer! Service was fantastic!
The location is by a canal with 6 tables for 2 outdoors by the canal and additional indoor seating. The place has the vibes of a pub and is very relaxed and friendly. It is off the main, busy streets of Venice so once can sit here and relax in quiet. Two 0.2L Moretti beers on tap and two cicchalli (tapas) from their large display were only €11.
