This was a wonderful stay. Location was literally minutes from St Mark's square which was great for popping back throughout the day particularly because the air-conditioning was amazing on the hot humid days we had. It is also a very short walk ( 5 mins and 2 small bridges) from Sant' Angelo stop on the orange route alilunga water bus from airport (highly recommend if you haven't been to Venice before to arrive this route - my son loved it) There was an elevator but as we were on the first floor we happily used the stairs although the staff carried our bags to the room on check in. Staff were very helpful and friendly always being proactive, great reception staff. Breakfast was great - good selection and the staff worked very hard to keep well filled. For those fans of the Philip Gwynne Jones books we were in room 113 ( some stairs to the room door) which over looked the Rio Terra dei Assassini ( Street of the assassins). Room was quiet and air-conditioned so good night's sleep. When there was a sudden downpour ( full on thunder and lightening) the hotel produced umbrellas for us to borrow. Highly recommend
This is not a 4 start hotel THIS IS A 5 STAR HOTEL! We loved out stay for few days in Venice. This was perfect hotel in middle of everything. Everything we did was within 15 mins walking. David front desk was exceptional and very helpful and amazing. If we come back to Venice we will 100% be back. Thanks for all the ice.
Very friendly and accommodating. Hotel service like it used to be and should be. Absolutely gorgeous hotel, lobby, rooms, bathrooms, bar, etc. Breakfast was perfect and delicious.
Marvelous hotel for visiting Venice with family or friends. Located in the heart of the city, within walking distance to all major museums, monuments, churches and attractions. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Buffet breakfast served in a beautifully decorated dining room. Friendly staff always willing to assist guests. Overall a great experience.
