This was such a cute hotel in a great location! The people who work there were very friendly amd helpful. We had 2 rooms on the 3rd floor and had no view. While they were the same room, one room was bigger than the other. Since the breakfast area is very small, they offer 3 different times for breakfast, which is complimentary. Breakfast was good with pastries, muffins, cereal, fruit, meat and cheeses, toast and other choices. Elevator is small, but fit the 4 of us tightly fit. You get 1 room key per room and you need to use the key to turn on the lights in the room - we found this in a few hotels in italy. Shower was very small. The location was great, close to many places with many restaurants right next to it. Overall, it was a nice hotel and we had a good stay.
We stayed here for a night during our stay in Venice. Up on our arrival we got the room upgraded at no cost (dont know the reason) which was nice. We got a room with great view. Only thing i would like to say about the room was that it had very much wear and should be due to an refurbishment. All in all we enjoyed our stay, at an great location.
Our meal was outstanding. The pizza my teenager ordered was exemplary, and the blue cheese flavor really added something. My own pasta dish was delicious as well. Food-wise, this place is great. It’s also set on a canal, in an exciting, busy location. Our Maître d’ was very polite and professional as well. That the waiter who collected our money was a bit cheeky, insisting that the Servizio line was tax and asking for a larger tip. I didn’t mind a handing over a few additional euros, I’m on vacation and also live in a tourist town myself, so understand how tough it can be to afford to live somewhere like Venice…but lying to customers really isn’t the way to go about things. Just say “if you thought the service was exemplary, you’re free to tip additionally” or something.
This spot is great. The location is hard to beat, right in the heart of everything with beautiful views and easy access to the main attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a great mix of modern touches without losing that classic charm. Staff were professional, which made the whole stay feel smooth and relaxed. Breakfast was solid, and everything ran on time. Highly recommend.
Carolina, the front desk manager, was an absolute delight. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and friendliness made us feel right at home. Her infectious enthusiasm and personalized interactions made our time with her feel like a truly special experience. On our first evening, Carolina went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She provided us with a list of locally hidden restaurants and a popular spot for the locals. She even went out of her way to help me find a local hairstylist to touch up my hair after all the recent rain. Carolina contacted two salons and set up an appointment for me that same day. I ended up going to Aldo Coppola, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. Carolina’s recommendations for restaurants were also top-notch. She suggested so many great places to eat that I’ll definitely be booking my stay here again! PSA: for a phenomenal view of the Grand Canal, request room 301 or 302 on the 3rd floor.
