Fantastic little gem of a place with absolutely delicious food and wine pairings. It’s easy to walk right past it but you will be sorry if you do. Such knowledgeable staff!
This place has the most iconic server in Venice. She had the best recommendations and the best service, honestly an icon we will never forget. The wine was also incredible and the tagliere misto literally rewired my brain. Cherry on top was the little balcony by the canal, super cute and unique!! But the staff was definitely the best part. Love the baddie and love the daddy. 10/10.
I went here alone at the beginning of May looking for a glass of wine in the sun. The service was so so friendly and made me feel really welcomed! Both the owner (I think) and the worker with the beard. The owner even came to say goodbye when his shift ended (these are details I enjoy as a solo traveler). I had a few glasses of lovely white wine at the little pier they have. As simple as it was, it was the highlight of my short trip to Venice. The place is also super cozy and their plates looked delicious as well. Only saw Italian people having lunch there, but they are tourist friendly. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends. Grazie and wishing you all the best in business from Madrid Spain :) P.S. I love their lamps!!!!!
This charming little nook of a restaurant, in a corner of Venice has stolen my heart. Unsuspecting, you may miss it if you don’t know where it is (we passed it twice even after having been the night before). You step into a cute, quaint little shop with excellent selection of wines, pickled vegetables, meat and seafood platters. The man who works at the front is the loveliest individual and very knowledgeable on wine. I would recommend anyone coming to Venice to give this local spot a try. If you want to step away from the tourist traps, come here!
Probably the best bacaro-style place in Venice. Great small food plates, really nice selection of wines and very cozy interior. Don’t give up if it’s too crowded. Have a drink at the bar and the place will turn up.
