We had a wonderful time, clean rooms that had everything one would need, close to the beach with plenty of parking. The highlight was the service during breakfast, the young lady helping us there was kind and always with a smile.
A perfect place if you want to combine a holiday on Lido Beach with visits to Venice, thanks to the quick bus link to the ferry terminal. Friendly service, clean rooms, good value for money, a decent breakfast and, above all, a very relaxed atmosphere! Thanks to the whole team!
Having just spent 5 nights at Sorriso, have to say it was very enjoyable. The hotel looks recently refurbished. The entire place was spotlessly clean and for the very reasonable rates the rooms are fully modern. Breakfast is served 8-10 and offers a decent variety, the reception staff are polite are helpful. The bonus about this hotel is you don't pay the eye-watering San Marco prices but with the bus stop being 200 yards away and directly going to the water taxis it feels like a cheat code. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Sorriso - it was in a beautiful, quiet location in Lido and was very easy to get to Venice, simple bus that runs very regularly and the waterbus. The room was clean and quiet, the only downside was that the room didn’t include a kettle or even a bottle of water which would have been nice considering there’s not many shops around. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was one of the better budget hotel spreads I’ve had, lots of options and good fuel for the day. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again, there’s also a very friendly (and old) dog named Zumo which I loved! The hotel also backs onto the canal and the sunset is absolutely stunning!
