Looking for a non-tourist trap tapas bar to grab drinks & tapas and to chill before continue exploring Burano? This place might be the one for you.
We visited In Pescaria Vecia for a relaxed lunch and had a really lovely experience from start to finish. We shared the mixed cicchetti platter, which was a great choice because it let us try a few different bites without feeling too heavy. Everything was fresh, well presented, and full of flavour, and it paired perfectly with a spitz. It felt like the ideal lunch for a break with a friend. The atmosphere was easygoing and welcoming, which made it a great spot to sit, chat, and enjoy the moment. Service was friendly and efficient, and we never felt rushed, which added to the laid-back feel of the meal. It was one of those places where you can simply slow down and enjoy good food in a nice setting. Overall, it was a simple but memorable lunch, and we left feeling very satisfied. If you’re looking for a place to share a light meal, have a drink, and enjoy good company, this is definitely worth a visit. We would happily come back again.
cicchetti bar selection with Venezia beer and a lovely bottle of Malvasia wine which you dont get everywhere but is made in Venezia... service was very good with knowledgable and attentive staff friendly. They happyly made fresh cicchetti when mentioned one of our party had a sea crustation allergy. Although away from the canal walk way its in a nice spot where you can choose to relax in the sun or shade.
We spotted this place from the boat we were on visiting Murano and Burano. It looked amazing from the view we had and so when the boat stopped, we walked around Burano so we could find it. It did not disappoint! It was amazing! The views were incredible 😎 The staff were very attentive and quick with our order. We were able to get a seat right by the water and the sun was shining. This place is an absolute must when you are visiting Venice.
