Wonderful hotel overall. Designed entirely by Philippe Stark which is alone worthy of a stay. The staff are exceptional, in particular a gentleman who was there for breakfast, who was so kind and accommodating and made it one of the best hotel experiences that I have had to date.
I recently stayed there with my family. I could not have been happier. The building, the architecture and the location was amazing. The staff was very responsive and accommodating. They were so kind to our children. They took care of every detail of our trip. They arranged all of the tours we wanted, all of the dinners we went to and all of the transportation. They work with a special company that picked us up from the moment we landed and made it so easy for us! As someone who pays attention to details, I was truly impressed! Grazie Mille
Our favorite hotel during our travels to Rome, Florence,and Venice. Excellent location, great room, excellent breakfast, and staff is warm and helpful. The hotel is well decorated with many glass pieces from Murano. While the room was small, the mirrors made it fell larger and the bed was very comfortable. Also, very quiet and relaxing. While it's common for Venice hotels to have direct access to canal, tje staff was so helpful in arranging private taxis as needed (70 euro from train station). Also, the public taxi is just a few steps for more affordable transportation. So glad our concierge mentioned a complimentary glass factory tour at Murano and arranged the private water taxi.
My recent stay here has earned a spot in my top 10 hotel experiences. The whole Palazzina Grassi team was perfect in every single way! The hotel's location is great and away from the tourist hoards. We stayed in the Attico Suite which was fun! Looking forward to my next stay here!
Oh wow!!! Where do I start? Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous hotel, right on the water, with accessible water taxis within a block from the hotel, or private taxi if you wish. Very discreet from the outside, but on the inside the decor is bold and just a visual treat throughout each of its spaces! Rooms are opulently decorated and stocked with everything you need! You can travel light, because they provide everything. The staff were gracious, and an absolute delight to interact with everyday. Although my child seems to have been the only kid in the building, he was treated like royalty at breakfast , so much so that he brought his newfound regal persona home with him much to our amusement (and annoyance) but in a good way :) they offer a fine dining dinner experience, which is not to be missed. It’s been months, and I still yearn for their tuna tartare and ricotta gelato… You don’t have to be a celebrity to be treated like one here, but chances are, that if you’re looking at this hotel, you already have really good taste. Thanks for the stay Michel, you made it extra special.
