We stayed in the Junior Suite (for 3 people) in the Annex Building right next to the main hotel. The room was by far the best we had of our Italy trip (across 4 cities). The desk clerk was very kind and gave us a bunch of tips about things to do in the city, may of which we wouldn't have known about otherwise (Murano and Burono Islands, fireworks show for Festa del Redentore that happened to be going on during our stay, and a great outline of the city in general). It's definitely a hidden gem of the city and made our experience in Venice that much better. Definitely recommend.

The rooms are decent size and have air conditioning. Showers are the typical small size but still fine. The breakfast has many options and is good. The biggest benefit to this hotel is the front staff, they are amazing. They speak English and Italian and maybe other languages. They will help you with your bags, porters to get your bags to and from the train station, suggest places to go and help you figure out which transport to take.

Excellent location - just opposite to train station (only one bridge crossing) Clean, electric tea kettle, cups, nice bath room with shampoo/towels. Only you have to lift luggage to up levels which looks common in Venice. Remember ; keep 1euro a day / per person as cash only, which is taken by hotel at the checkout. Currency exchange in Venice is not recommended, they charge too much.

We booked this hotel because the owners were very passionate in their replies to negative Google reviews, so we thought they truly care about their hotel. The double room was quite expensive and small, as are most hotels in Venice. The bathroom had a cool renovation and the shower even had LED lights and a radio! We had a small issue with our room regarding a tiny spider and they reluctantly said we could switch rooms to a double room with a significantly older renovation. In the second room, the bathroom shower support pole and toilet broke immediately upon using. The staff tried to fix it immediately and when it couldn’t be fixed, offered to move us to the Annex (another building). However, it was already 12AM and we were too tired to move rooms again. The kindness of the staff varied depending on the person. There was a lady and man at the front desk who was very kind to us throughout all these issues and gave us recommendations for Venice, but there was also a woman in housekeeping and different man at the front desk who were very defensive and dismissive regarding our insect concerns. Overall, I am grateful to some of the staff, but I would try to look for other options next time in Venice. It’s livable if it’s your only option!

We were moved here from the Canal Hotel (which was terrible). Upon arrival, we were greeted at the reception by a very nice gentleman who helped us with everything. He then took us to our room, which, although it didn't look very good from the outside, was beautiful, spacious, and clean inside. The view from the room was of the courtyard, but that didn't bother us at all. The staff was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, even after checkout, when they allowed us to store our luggage. The rooms have functional air conditioning. We just couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi, but I guess that was a one-time thing. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, and if I ever visit Venice again, I would definitely stay here. The hotel is very close to all the sights.
