Nicely furnished room with no view, nowhere to sit outside without feeling you have to buy (8euros an orange juice for example) to sit there.
We had dinner at the restaurant. It was overall not a good experience. While the staff was friendly, the food was uninspired, not made to bring a taste experience to the guest. The prices however, even for Venice standards, were just over the top. No problem to pay extra in Venice, but then the quality should follow, and that is not the case here.
So sad to have left this wonderful place! 🥰 There aren’t enough words to describe the magic I experienced here. You can really feel how well the team works together - always going above and beyond in the most relaxed, genuine way. They’re some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! I was welcomed with a drink and even able to check in a couple hours earlier than expected. The privacy policy for the Wi-Fi was great, vanity pack adorable, bathroom spotless. Loved having cozy breakfasts on the promenade and their restaurant on the water offers stunning Giudecca views! What touched me too was how the receptionist gave me a private room to change into my departure outfit after I’d already checked out. Such thoughtful service! I’ll miss you all loads and can’t wait to come back.
