Awesome hotel and amazing breakfast wow! Impressed, it's quiet and nice rooms close to everything. Minus 1 for the hard bed and weird uncomfortable square toilet...
I originally left a raving review on Expedia but two days later I noticed an extra charge on my account which was odd because I paid ahead. I guessed it might be a travel tax of some kind and part of it was. However, I requested an itemized receipt and found that they charged me for two breakfasts even though we did not purchase them ahead of time and even though we never entered the building where breakfast is served (after check in.) For context, Check in and out is at Ca Nigra across the courtyard. I explained by email that my husband and I were told that breakfast was available and that they’d add it to our bill if we decided to come by but we never did. The hotel responded that since we did not follow their check out instructions, we would not be refunded for breakfast. We did leave the key card behind as instructed on the key card envelope but I did not realize I had to physically go to the front desk. My mistake but they said the breakfast was consumed and charged to the room by the staff. If someone gave our room number I’d hope they would check identification. I am very disappointed because this place was in a great location and had nice views. My review on Expedia said that there were no hidden fees. I spoke too soon. I guess I recommend the stay but highly encourage you to review and follow the instructions to check out and make sure you don’t have extra fees.
We had an amazing experience. After our long night of travel the front desk was sooooo friendly and let us check in early. The location was perfect and room was nice and larger than expected. Loved the rooftop and would absolutely stay again
I would recommend to anyone. Excellent service, great breakfast, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The concierge gave excellent restaurant recommendations and helped us avoid tourist traps, including one of my favourite restaurants all time in Italy, Patachic.
