This hotel was a wonderful home base with a good location for exploring Venice. The hotel is older with good character and the rooms have been carefully updated with new bathrooms while still retaining the character of the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The staff is exceptionally helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. We will definitely return.
Hotel Giorgione is the first hotel I've ever stayed at in Venice and it was absolutely lovely. The staff really set the bar high with their hospitality. From the moment we checked in everybody was incredibly helpful, informative, and made us feel at home. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms have towel warmers and the air conditioning is an awesome detail after staying in many EU hotels without AC. The pool gets reserved for 30 minutes at a time and is incredibly peaceful and refreshing - the water jets and massage waterfall were a really pleasant ammenity. Walter the bartender is an amazing host - he was so fun to hang out with, told us about the local spots to hit for an authentic Venice experience and legitimately makes the best fresh peach bellini in all of Venice. I tried as many as I could while in town and none came close. There's a pool table downstairs, a beautiful patio by the pool and the hotel is located in a very prime location for getting around the city both on foot and by boat. 10/10 would stay here again and plan to return.
During our thirteen day trip to Italy, we stayed in four different hotels and Hotel Giorgione was our favorite. The room was spacious, quiet, and extremely comfortable. While the bathroom was small, it had all the necessary amenities. The public areas were beautiful both indoors and out, and I especially liked the veranda area overlooking the courtyard. The continental breakfast was excellent and the presentation and cleanliness of the dining area was exceptional. The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. The location was tucked away on a side street but easily accessible to shops, restaurants, and places of interest.
This hotel is fantastic: very clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The staff are absolutely lovely, welcoming, and always willing to help. They adapt easily to different languages, which makes the experience even more enjoyable for international guests. The only small downside was the breakfast, as there could be a wider selection of savory options. However, this does not take away from the beauty, comfort, and overall quality of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again!
My husband and I spent fourteen nights at the Georgione Hotel. Very nice and clean room. Perfect location. Beautiful historic details in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Courteous and very helpful staff. We especially liked Walter the bartender who kept us amused and told us some wonderful stories Sincerely, Ileana
