I would highly recommend this hotel. It was easy to find by foot, and is located in a large square. You can also arrive directly to the door via water taxi. Our room had a window to the canal behind the hotel where we could watch gondolas pass by. It is centrally located and easy to walk in all four directions to discover restaurants, cafes, tourist sites, and many stores. We purchased the breakfast option which had a wide selection of various food, including packaged gluten free options. There are various shared lounges to spend time in while admiring the beautiful architecture and historic features of the building. They even have umbrellas to lend out for those thunderstorms that quickly pass. Great for couples or families.
I brought my 78 years old dad and 13 years old son to Venice. We stayed in the Ruzzini palace hotel venezia for 3 nights. We booked the junior Suite. The stay is beyond expectations. Hotel is old Venice style with modern facilities. Very clean and great view from our room. The staffs were super nice. Dad didn’t want to go out with us for dinner, the hotel staff heated take away for him. That was very kind of them. Location is very center, a few minutes walking to all nice attractions in the main island. We felt home for these three days. Definitely will recommend to friends and family. Beautiful hotel with luxurious rooms. The art and atmosphere make the stay more enjoyable. Excellent breakfast options including some dairy free and vegan. Staff are knowledgable and friendly. Easy location from which to explore venice. But it is also great to enjoy the campo out front with lively cafes and statues.
Words do not begin to describe the absolute beauty of the Ruzzini Palace! The location is superb with beautiful water views and the wonderful courtyard, lively with cafes and shops! I do acknowledge the professionalism of General Manager, SEBASTIANO CAGNIN, for replying to me directly regarding some particulars that were handled very PROFESSIONALLY and PROMPTLY! It is quite obvious that customer support is of utmost importance and this was duly noted and most appreciated! My son and his fiance stayed in the GORGEOUS SUITE DEL PARADISO and I was very fortunate to stay in the JUNIOR SUITE WITH VIEW! The suites were exquisite, spacious, immaculately clean, royal! Please do acknowledge the wonderful team for their hard work! If I had one comment to note, it would be the following… throughout all of Italy (we visited Rome, Amalfi Coast, Florence and Venice) delicious breakfasts were all included in the wonderful stays at each hotel we visited! Our delicious breakfast was kindly provided to us with no charge at the beautiful Ruzzini Palace as a courtesy for remedying a situation. We are very grateful and we are grateful for the lovely breakfast bags that were prepared for us upon our early departure… I hope that beautiful breakfasts may become included with every guest’s stay at the Ruzzini Palace! Best part of our 3 city italy trip. Service was off the charts, lovely room, bar and staff. So accommodating, no Nickel and diming.. step out front and wonderful piazza with local kids playing soccer. A few restaurants, excellent location and water taxi drop off and pickup which hotel will arrange. Can't wait to go back!
