Pick-ups are available from Venice, Verona, or Padua. The tour begins with a visit to a historic 15th-century cantina. Travel along narrow roads winding through vineyards as you taste classic Valpolicella wines including Valpolicella, Ripasso della Valpolicella, Amarone, and Recioto. Each wine is paired with carefully selected cheeses, guided by your sommelier and cheese expert.
After the first cantina visit, you will have a light traditional lunch at a local trattoria in the wine country. The tour continues with a second cantina visit where grapes for Amarone and Recioto are dried before fermentation. Explore the vineyards and winery, followed by additional tastings to compare wines from two producers.
